HTC records each participants start time, finish time, duration and pace. The clock view also estimates the participants expected time to finish as well as the expected race finish time.
Settings include user defined margin setting for ETA warning notifications, major van exchange message forwarding though messaging (iMessage or SMS) to the other vans and rating multipliers.
The exchange tab within the Legs view shows the estimate or actual times for the van exchanges.
Data transfers can be between any number of devices.
Leg results can be automatically posted to Daily Mile, Twitter. SMS or sent via email during exchanges or postings may be sent manually for any team member's results. Results can also be transmitted to an AirPrinter.
If the app is connected over cellular or Wi-Fi. Using the Cloud, race progress for other teams logged in with an Apple ID can be tracked and other team members can sync race progress.

In training mode, a multi-week training schedule is created that can be used to prepare for the race. Training mode can capture workouts using GPS or log all the statistics for each of the workouts in the plan. Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
